Dulux Acratex Roofing Colour Card
The official Dulux Acratex Roofing Colour Card shows the complete range of available colours for the Roof Membrane system — including Dulux Acratex shades and the full Colorbond® palette. It includes both gloss and satin finish options, and the InfraCOOL® range for heat-reflective colour selection.
Download it, take your time, and bring it along when we carry out your free roof inspection. We can help you narrow down the options based on your home’s exterior, any body corporate or council requirements, and what works well in Mackay’s climate.
What Is the Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane?
The Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane is not a standard exterior paint. It is a 100% acrylic elastomeric membrane coating engineered specifically for concrete tile and metal roofs. It provides a flexible, protective barrier that moves with the roof as it expands and contracts through temperature changes — which is especially important in Queensland’s climate.
At A1 Roof & Driveway Restorations, the Dulux Acratex system is our chosen coating for roof restorations. We use it because it performs well when applied correctly — and we apply it only after the roof has been properly inspected, repaired, and cleaned. The coating doesn’t fix underlying problems. It protects a roof that is already structurally sound.
QUESTIONS? WE’VE GOT ANSWERS
Frequently Asked Questions
What are Dulux Acratex roof membrane systems?
Dulux Acratex roof membrane systems are high-quality protective coatings designed to resist UV exposure, heat, and moisture. When applied correctly to an appropriately prepared roof, they provide long-term protection and help extend roof lifespan. We use industry-leading Dulux Acratex systems where appropriate for the condition of the roof.
What is in the Dulux Acratex Colour Card?
The colour card shows a range of available colours for the Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane system, including both the Dulux Acratex Roofing range and the Colorbond® colour palette. It covers both gloss and satin finishes, and includes the InfraCOOL® range with heat-reflective colour options. Total Solar Reflectance (TSR) figures are shown for InfraCOOL® colours to help compare their cooling performance.
Can I change my roof colour with Dulux Acratex?
Yes. A roof restoration is a practical time to change your roof colour. The Dulux Acratex system is available in a wide variety of colours, so you have considerable flexibility. Bear in mind that some estates, strata schemes, or local council areas have approved colour lists for roof surfaces — it’s worth confirming any requirements before selecting a colour. We can advise on this during the inspection.
What is InfraCOOL® Technology and should I consider it in Mackay?
InfraCOOL® is a Dulux technology that increases the Total Solar Reflectance (TSR) of roof colours, reducing heat absorption at the roof surface. Given Mackay’s climate, it’s worth considering, particularly for lighter pastel shades where the cooling benefit is most significant. Homes with minimal ceiling insulation may see the most benefit. InfraCOOL® is available in gloss finish only. We can discuss whether it makes sense for your situation during the inspection.
Does the colour card warranty apply to A1 Restorations work?
The Dulux Acratex Roof Membrane 15-year material warranty applies when the system has been applied by a professional roofing applicator in accordance with Dulux’s product specification and surface preparation requirements. We follow these requirements as part of our standard process. Your warranty documentation and product details will be noted at completion of the job.
How long does the inspection and quote process take?
